What sets this paddle apart is our proprietary dual-foam core, designed for excellent pop and a generous sweet spot, ensuring every hit feels powerful and accurate, even the ones that might be a touch off center. 

Foam cores replace the old honeycomb cores for one main reason, foam doesn't core crush. We've all had a paddle get "hot" after a few weeks and suddenly shots are unpredictable and uncontrollable, that's core crush and we've taken care of that issue for good.

What is thermoforming and why does it matter?

Thermoforming is the process where we put each paddle, in it's raw state, into a steel mold and under extreme heat and pressure the paddle is forged into it's final form. This process cures the resin in the carbon fiber, and the special adhesives used in the core, together, forging them into one solid purpose built piece. The alternative would be a simple "slice construction" paddle made like a sandwhich - two faces and a core simply cold glued together. You'd be surprised which big name paddles are still made that way to this day but not Strada, not ever.
